What Is Love? (Baby, Don't Hurt Me) ((for this title))
You know that thing you feel? In the back of your mind? That nagging voice,
that you keep ignoring? Keep resisting,
because you think you know better?
I’m listening to it right now.
I’m feeling all sorts of strange things.
I don’t understand it. I am pretty sure it is love.
I’ve been told I’m loved, and I thought I had seen all that love had to offer.
I thought I understood love.
I didn’t understand love until I understood that love is not just romantic love.
Love is an emotion you feel not in your heart, but in your soul.
To love is to connect, to inspire, to give.
Love is selfless, boundless, timeless.
It is simply an energy that exists in space, waiting to be given away.
Love can be felt in all things, and for all things.
Every human being has the capacity to love to this extent, and yet we limit ourselves
on the ways we can love,
on whom we can love,
on what we can love,
on what love really means.
I think I am in love.
I think so because it doesn’t make any sense.
I think I am just perpetually in love with the universe, with every soul and energy
that exists within me and without me.
Energy draws energy, and when energies blend, souls collide.
The body is nothing more than a vessel for the soul.
I am my soul, and I love it.
I have learned
